Equipment composition

The grid ball mill has a hollow shaft neck end cover at the discharge end, which is equipped with a bearing inner sleeve and a discharge grid. The mining grid is composed of a central lining plate, a grid lining plate, and a dustpan shaped lining plate. Eight radial ribs are cast on the inner wall of the end cover, dividing the end cover into eight fan-shaped chambers. A dustpan shaped lining plate is installed in each fan-shaped chamber and fixed to the end cover with screws. Then, the grid plate is installed on each fan-shaped chamber formed by the dustpan lining plate.

Working principle

The grid type ball mill is a horizontal cylindrical rotating device, driven by external gears, with two compartments. The material is uniformly fed into the first compartment of the mill through the feeding device and the hollow shaft screw. The compartment is equipped with stepped or corrugated lining plates and contains steel balls of different specifications. The rotation of the cylinder generates centrifugal force, which brings the steel balls to a certain height and then drops them, causing heavy impact and grinding on the material. After the material reaches rough grinding in the first warehouse, it enters the second warehouse through a single-layer partition plate. The warehouse is lined with a flat lining plate and contains steel balls for further grinding of the material. The powdered material is discharged through the discharge grate to complete the grinding operation.

The grinding product of the grid type ball mill is discharged by the discharge grid plate, which has a forced discharge effect and a fast discharge speed. The slurry level at the discharge end is lower than the lowest horizontal line of the discharge shaft neck, so it is called horizontal discharge. The speed of the slurry passing through the mill is accelerated from the feeding end to the discharging end, allowing the finely ground ore particles to be discharged in a timely manner.
